AASBEA President Dr. Sharon Freeman is a sought after speaker on a broad range of subjects pertaining to small business development, women and youth enterprise development, and living green. In over 100 countries, based on over 35 years of experience and knowledge of best-case practice in many fields, Dr. Freeman shares “gems of wisdom” with audiences of small business owners, development practitioners, bankers, and others who have a stake in the growth and development of the private sector. Dr. Freeman is often retained by the U.S. Department of State’s Public Diplomacy Office, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank, and by foreign countries and private firms to deliver motivational speeches and workshops that share the latest information about how to get the most out of trade agreements, how to develop institutions to support private sector development, how to design and develop infrastructural supports, both financial and physical (Free Trade Zones), and firm level strategies to promote business growth and business linkages.
